For NUS CHBE students, generally we will have a group interview of 2-3 students with about 3 interviewers (our international coordinators). Each session is about 15 minutes with ~3 questions being asked for the whole group to answer.
In case you are wondering what could be asked at an SEP application interview, I compiled a non-exhaustive list of questions from those interviewed within my batch. Do prepare your study plans to be submitted as well and research more for at least your top 2 choices (most important).
Possible interview questions include:

- Why do you consider yourself a good candidate?
- Describe one achievement or something that you are proud of.
- What are your non-academic achievements?
- What do you plan to do in the future as a chemical engineer?
- Why did you choose chemical engineering?
- Describe some leadership roles that you have taken.
- Tell me about one instance of your leadership skills
- About SEP in general / exchange students
- Why do you want to go overseas?
- Do you have any overseas experience?
- What do you hope to gain from this experience?
- What do you hope to bring to the people in your exchange?
- Have you interacted with exchange students previously?
- Name one place in Singapore that you will bring exchange student to.
- How will you build relations with the people there?
- How would describe NUS to foreign counterparts?
- About the partner university / country
- Tell me something about your first/second choice of partner university.
- Why did you choose your first choice?
- Can you name something which recently happened in / the current affairs of the country of your first choice?
